Equipment for determining the impact attenuating properties
REFERENCE 5082
This equipment allows to measure the impact attenuating characteristics of cushioning systems and cushioning materials employed in the soles of athletic shoes. It can carry out an initial fatigue and can capture impact data in order to study them.
ASTM F 1976-13
- This test method is based on the measure of the impact of a mass dropped from a height on a test piece or material to test. The machine has a system that allows you to change the impact height in order to adjust the impact energy.
- The system allows to display and store following parameters by means of the impact capture and inner calculus of the software:
- Peak impact force (N).
- Maximum penetration of bounce (mm).
- Bounce (mm).
- Impact energy (J).
- Maximum stiffness (N/mm).
- Time of maximum penetration (s).
- Graph of impact force (force/time).
- Graph of impact displacement (force/time).
- Graph of hysteresis (force/displacement).
- Adjustment of impact height on the test piece (Test pieces as flat sheets, soles or shoes).
- System allows to program cycles number to carry out the fatigue test on test pieces before carrying out the measurements.
- Program to communicate with PC in order to process data by means of a spreadsheet.
- Power supply: 220V 50/60 Hz.
