Our history
The oldest information we can find about the name of the company MUVER goes back to the time 26th January 1952, when the former directors registered it as a trademark. The registered activity of the company was the manufacture of internal combustion engine type 24.
At that time, the predecessors of the present owners decided to set up a factory for manufacturing engines and motorcycles. The success of consumption tests was the motivation for beginning to make engines in a professional way.
In the 70s, and due to the growth that footwear companies were experimenting in the area, the company set out to specialize in the manufacture of equipment and tools for footwear industry. In 1978, MUVER took the present trade name FRANCISCO MUÑOZ IRLES C.B.
In the following years, an internationally recognized technological institute suggested that MUVER gives assistance to the problems that they were having with the quality machines that they bought. The successful intervention together with the difficulty of finding accurate and liable machines made this institute propose that MUVER design and manufacture this kind of machines. The immediate success made the company give up his other activities in order to centre in attend to the increasing demand.
Nowadays, MUVER manufactures and exports all around the world more than 100 machines aimed at carrying out quality control tests and materials studies. Our products catalogue expands every year due to continuous cooperation with different institutions for new methods and Standards development. Some of the machines manufactured by MUVER has managed to be a global reference.
