Device for testing static dissipative footwear
REFERENCE 5117
Device for testing the static current resistance of footwear that is fitted onto the feet of a human test subject. This resistance is measured by applying a specific voltage after a prescribed period of time.
ASTM F2412-11 (paragraph 10)
- Ground plate and support made of stainless steel.
- A DC power supply at a fixed 50V output that has current limited to 5 mA for shock protection of human test subjects.
- Data output by smart processor display showing resistance values of conductive footwear between 0 kΩ and 100 kΩ. Resistance values of antistatic footwear are between 100 kΩ and <1 GΩ.
- Display of values with 8 digits.
- The display shows the type of footwear: conductive footwear, insulating footwear or high insulating footwear.
- External power supply: Input – 100-240V CA ~ 50/60Hz. Output – 12VDC 1.
